YOU CAN BE ETERNALLY HAPPY WHEN GOD FORGIVES YOUR SINS
Daily Soul Feast Day 17 October
If you have ever experienced the pangs of death then you will understand what it means to celebrate life especially life that was freely given to you by the mercy of God.
There was a time I thought probably the end was near as I had to undergo surgery that elicited fear. You can imagine my display of joy and gratitude to God when I eventually walked out of that hospital alive.
It is that same indescribable joy that one experiences when one receives forgiveness of sins from God. Sin carries the death penalty and this death is a second death different from the first one. The second death is more fearful as it is unlike the first death which will eventually befall every human being. The second death is a living torture in hell where those who never repented will be kept separated from God forever.
PSALMS 32:1
Happy is the person whose sins are forgiven, whose wrongs are pardoned. Psalms 32:1 (NCV)
We need to seek God now that we have the opportunity so that our sins can be forgiven and we can enjoy a lasting relationship with Him here and in eternity.
For as long as our sins are not forgiven we are naked and exposed to the flying destructive arrows of the enemy.
Sin is a heavy burden that takes life out of its victim bit by bit until nothing is left.
We cannot fight the battle of sin alone in our strength for satan is man’s worse enemy. He will continue to dangle the arrow of death to intimidate and put his victims in perpetual fear. However God promises to be merciful to our unrighteousness if we believe and trust Him.
YOU CAN BE ETERNALLY HAPPY LIVING IN FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD
Our freedom comes when we turn to God by confessing and repenting of our sins and believing that the blood of Jesus can make us clean and free.
The Bible records that as far as the East is to the West so will He remove our transgressions meaning that God will never call to remembrance our old and forgiven sins.
Now is the time for you to secure your freedom by seeking God; you should not delay your moment of salvation to experience the joy that is yours when God totally forgives your sins.
God does not turn away any repentant sinner and His terms are very easy. Just accept God’s offer of salvation through Jesus Christ and this everlasting joy will be yours. This joy is not dependent on the circumstances around you but rather it is joy that you experience from within your spirit.
PRAYER PETITION TO BE ETERNALLY HAPPY
- Lord I confess and repent of all the sins I had been hiding from you. Please forgive me.
2) Give me total freedom from the snare of sin. Let the blood of Jesus blot away all my iniquities and make me fit to be in fellowship with you.
3) Please keep me away from running into trouble that comes with sin.
4) Deliver me from the death penalty of sin. Deliver me from satanic arrows meant to derail me.
5) Give me power to be permanently victorious over sin.
6) Let this be my season to enjoy undiluted joy now and forever more.
May I receive your answer to my prayers in Jesus Name (amen)
