GOD IS MY SALVATION MY SONG AND STRENGTH
Daily Soul Feast Day 21 October
When God is your salvation He is the stronghold of your life and you have no reason to be afraid of the powers that operate in the dark.
For as long as you seek God and dwell in His presence He will deliver you from dangers and keep you secured.
God’s well of salvation never runs dry and it is open for anyone that wants to draw. The invite to draw is for everybody for He says I stand at the door of your heart knocking for you to open.
ISAIAH 12: 2
Look, God is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear.
For the Lord gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer.” Isaiah 12:2 (NET)
When we open the door of our heart for God by inviting Jesus our Mediator then God forgives us and in return He opens countless doors for us to always draw what we need for our sustenance.
The only drawback is when we don’t grant Him access to our whole heart even though the door is open.
We sometimes compartmentalize our hearts placing a “NO GO IN SIGN” on the compartments where we still want to do the dirty works of darkness and fleshy desires.
You cannot experience the full joy of salvation if you are still holding to some of your old sins.
gOD IS MY SALVATION MY STRENGTH IN TIME OF TROUBLE
Jesus said “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other’’. And God Himself said that His glory He will never give to another.
It is better to choose and give your allegiance to the one that can save both body and soul and He also has the power to destroy those that are not His.
Do you want to serve the God that has the key to eternal life and can destroy both body and soul or you are sticking to the one that has no control over your soul and cannot offer you eternity?
Your decision now will establish the level of God’s responsibility for you.
GOD IS MY SALVATION MY STRENGTH FOR EFFECTIVE
PRAYER PETITIONS
1) I open the door of my heart for you Lord please come in and save me from condemnation.
2) Do not turn me away in anger Lord but please deliver me from the power of sin and let your presence make a visible difference in my life.
3) Give me strength and courage to confront the monsters embedded in each day by the enemy.
4) Lord please open the well of salvation for me to draw in abundance.
5) When unseen forces advance against me in the dark; shine your light and cause them to stumble and fall in total defeat in Jesus name.
6) Let me experience your favour and do not let me face my own ruin.
May I receive your answer to my prayers in Jesus Name (amen)
