God gives power for success for He wants to feed us to become fat and flourish. He detests pride and has warned us not to become proud and begin to think our strength got us to where are.
Not giving credit to God for our achievements is a deception of the devil. Satan subtly diverts our focus from the fact that we are nothing without the help of God. He starts by planting little seeds of pride that can get big if left unchecked.
This he tried on David using praise singers when David came back from battle after killing Goliath. The unsolicited praise singers carved out a song: David has killed ten thousand and Saul has killed a thousand.
DEUTERONOMY 8: 18
Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath. Deuteronomy 8:18 (NLT)
David was not deceived because he was well rooted in God. However the praise singers succeeded in sowing the seed of hatred in the heart of Saul the King.
Let’s be wary of the unsolicited praise singers for they are no good if we want to remain wealthy and enjoy the peace of God. God wants us to thankfully praise and give Him glory for every achievement of ours whether small or great.
He is please when we respect others despite the fact that they may be at the lower end of the ladder of success.

God made it clear that the poor will always be on our land and this is due to no fault of theirs. Many that we consider poor are hard workers but just that God did not place them in a place of great opportunity to make extraordinary wealth.
You might be thinking oh I graduated and worked extra hard than others but just think for a minute.
What if you had suffered an accident along the way or could not get employment after the graduation?
Sure it could be true that you worked hard yet some people worked harder but circumstances beyond their control made them to be in the unfavorable position they find themselves.
They had ideas just like you did but they could not get the idea to the people that will key in and drive it to success the way yours did.
GOD GIVES POWER TO MAKE WEALTH
Remember wealth does not define who we are for God created us all equal and God evaluates a man with a different yardstick not known to us.
Aaron’s rod budded because the radar of God was on him. He was chosen not because his rod was of better quality but because God decided to single him out for that position.
We may make plans of what we want to do but it is God that decides what we can do.
When God gives you a platform to operate and blossom it is because He wants you to invest in the lives of others and raise them up so that His promise of wealth will extend to others through you.

If you think God has no hand in what you have become today remember the earth was without form. But God added form and created an enabling framework for us to operate and thrive in it.
Despite the advancement of Science and Technology they have not created something out of nothing the way God did. They are only able to modify that which God brought out from nothing to meet our needs of today.
Don’t be carried away with your achievements for if God didn’t build the house the builders would have built in vain.
May God help you to access your wealth and may you utilize it to fulfill the purpose for which it is meant for without becoming puff up.

PRAYER PETITIONS
1) Teach me how to fish in your sea of abundance for my success. I commit my plans into Your hand please bless it and cause me not to build in vain Lord.
2) The earth and its fullness belong to you Lord; by your mercy let me profit from it.
3) Lord deliver me from the spirit of pride as you lift me up on the ladder of success.
4) Plant in me a spirit of giving to mentor others You have placed in my trust so they can also rise to success.
5) Let the earth yield fruit of success for every seed I have sown in obedience to Your direction.
6) Reveal the secret things in your possession that are relevant for my breakthrough. May I use my wealth to create added value for the children of God.
May I receive your answer to my prayers in Jesus Name (amen)
