Every good gift and every perfect present comes from heaven; it comes down from God, the Creator of the heavenly lights, who does not change or cause darkness by turning.

day 13 NOVEMBER
The search for the good things of life has led many children of God to seek for help where there is none. This is because they felt God was slow in blessing them.
I have news for you my beloved brethren; do not be deceived, the earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it. Only God the owner can distribute what He owns and He offers the best to those that are His.
He says all the silver and gold of the world is mine. Instead of bronze I will bring you gold; I will bring silver in place of iron, bronze instead of wood, and iron instead of stones. I will appoint peace as your governor and righteousness as your ruler.
God has good intentions towards mankind and this influenced His decisions to create things ahead for our comfort.

Everything that God gives is based on His unconditional love and it comes from God’s unequalled natural goodness to mankind.
His gifts to us are not based on our merit but rather it is based on His mercy towards us.
Only God gives the best to His children because whatever God gives has eternal value when used according to the purpose for which it was designed.
Whatever we are and have are gifts to us by grace; we don’t own anything; even our life belongs to God. Every gift that God gives to us is for a purpose.
The gifts as we all know ultimately belong to God and He expects us to use and manage them on His behalf as a steward.

That is to say the benefit accruing from those gifts should not be for us alone but we should be God’s agent in blessing others with it and investing in what will give glory to God.
No one can claim that God has not gifted them with good and perfect gifts.

If you are alive you are already a recipient of God’s gift and it is your responsibility to manage it well.
God has entrusted many good and perfect gifts to your care because He trust you to use them well.
The question you should ask is: Lord what do You want me to do with these things?
How do You want me to manage them?
Where do You want me to use them?
As caretaker and steward for the gifts God has given you; you must know the role of caretakers and stewards so that you can manage and dispense the gifts of God in accordance with His mandate.
As good stewards of the manifold grace of God, each of you should use whatever gift received from God to serve one another.

Don’t neglect the gift God has given you no matter how small for God will demand an account from you for each one of them. You must make them better than how God gave it to you.
If you want God to add more gifts to what you have now then you have to show evidence that the small He gave you was well managed.
Jesus said the one who is unfaithful with little cannot be entrusted with much. And the unprofitable steward will be cast off.
Do you think God is happy with the way you are managing the business or job entrusted into your care?
If no; what can you do to improve your performance?

Now is the time for stocktaking so that you can do the necessary restructuring and pruning for you to effectively manage the gifts of God in your care at a profit.
As God’s steward you are managing the assets for the owner’s benefit. You have no claim on the assets you are managing.
It’s your job to find out what the owner wants done with his assets, then carry out his will. You have no right to misuse or destroy the assets.
For instance the life God has given you is on trust; you have no right to destroy or terminate it because it is not yours; and neither do you have the right to destroy the lives of your children because you are only their caretaker.

Now that you understand the message I am conveying permit me to ask: how have you managed your body, time and brain? Are you managing them the way God wants you to?
Do you overwork your body and deprive it of sleep thereby damaging it through illness? What of the things you purchased with God’s money?
Do you allow them to waste away without adequate care?
Remember they belong to God. Are you sure God will reward you for the way you have managed them?
“JAMES 1:17"
Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.

It is time to ask for grace to act responsibly in the management of the little you have been given so that God can entrust you with more.
So whatever you do henceforth; in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, to glorify God; giving thanks to God the Father through Jesus Christ.

PRAYER PETITIONS
1) I thank You Lord for you are great and the world and all that is in it belong to You.
2) Make me a candidate of all the good gifts you have prepared for me.
3) Lord make me a worthy steward that can be entrusted with your good gifts.
YOU ARE STEWARDS OF GOD'S GIFTS
PRAY FERVENTLY
4) Give me the spirit and desire to work hard and manage everything for your glory and praise.
5) Please provide what is good, and let my gifts and land yield its increase.
6) Let me not be only a consumer of your gifts. Help to create added value and let me utilize my gift to glorify God.
LORD May I receive your answer to my prayers in Jesus Name (amen)
