GOD’S COMPASSIONATE CALL TO THE WICKED: ISAIAH 55:7
Daily soul feast
day 16 NOVEMBER
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth; so my ways are higher than your ways; and my thoughts higher than your thoughts”.
God is higher than us in every way; His love and mercy is far greater than we can imagine.
Because of our short sightedness we want to see the wicked destroyed and eliminated from earth so that we can be free from their attacks and live in peace but God on His part says:
I am “The LORD, the LORD God, I am compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion and faithfulness.
“Give up your evil ways and your evil thoughts.
Return to the LORD our God.
He will be merciful and forgive your sins.”

We like to pray against the wicked to die but instead of praying for the wicked to die God says:
Tell them that as surely as I am the living LORD God, I don’t like to see wicked people die. I enjoy seeing them turn from their sins and live.
So if the wicked want to live, they must stop sinning and turn back to me.
We need to start thinking like God because we are His children and created in His image of love so instead of hatred:
Let us announce to the wicked that God loved them so much that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not die but have eternal life.
The wicked should therefore repent, and turn back to God, so their sins may be wiped away.

God did not create us for destruction but the wickedness which entered into us when we fell into satan’s deception and rebelled against God has now put us at risk of death.
Our God is a loving father and daily He beckons us to retrace our steps from wickedness.
Let us heed God’s call before His patience runs out and the invitation would expire. God is not like us; He does not delight in half measures or lukewarm attitude. He is seeking for the sinner that will repent sincerely and commit to serve Him without looking back.
Any sinner that wants to see God must seek Him where He can be found.
God can only be found in the place of holiness. You cannot look for God in the place of sin; for you will never find Him there.

The wicked who wants to receive God’s forgiveness must be ready to forsake all by dying to self and all it’s lustful desires.
They must be ready to follow God all the way and accept God’s own authorized way for salvation.
None of us can claim to be sinless; for if God were to mark iniquities none of us will be justified.
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
We should therefore make it a habit to always ask God to examine us and cleanse us from all sins through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Let the wicked leave their way of life and change their way of thinking. Let them turn to the LORD, our God; he is merciful and quick to forgive. Isaiah 55:7 (GNT)

PRAYER PETITIONS
1)Deliver me and everyone around me that harbour wicked thoughts; and forgive us for every wicked deeds we committed against You.
2) Strengthen us with your Holy Spirit and make us holy and fit for You to dwell in us.
3) Lord Jesus fill us to overflow with Your power so that we can be fully established in holiness.
PRAY FERVENTLY
4) Protect us from the contrary wind of the wicked. Let it not blow us away from You. Do not allow the cord of the wicked entangle us.
5) Let Your light shine through the darkness of wickedness that surrounds me and make me triumph over them.
6) Lord grant me the grace to be your voice to announce Your unconditional love for the wicked and Your call to them for repentance.
LORD May I receive your answer to my prayers in Jesus Name (amen)
