Foundation Row: Colour A: Start with a magic ring.

R1: ch3, 11dc into the ring. sl st to top of ch3 to close the ring.[12sts]

R2: ch2, 2fpdc around each of all the sts. sl st to top of first st. [12 groups of 2fpdc each.][Note: Beginning ch2 does not count as part of the sts.]

  (Note: you are separating the cluster of 2fpdc with 1dc. Maintain the fpdc by putting fpdc around every fpdc. Separate 2fpdc with a dc between and a dc on every dc. [At the end of this row 24 ridges created by the fpdc separated by 1dc.]
