BEYOND BARRIERS TO VICTORY – PROVERBS 30:24-28

WHY YOU MUST GO BEYOND BARRIERS

You must be ready to go beyond barriers because you only get to your place of success after crossing barriers. We sometimes think we have tenable excuses for refusing to go beyond barriers and work for positive result.

I want you to know that barriers you encounter are necessary to bring you to your place of victory. God deposits potentials in every individual but often we don’t even know these  potentials exists because we have not spent time to discover our capabilities. You can learn from four small creatures in Proverbs and apply the lessons in your life to achieve success.

PROVERBS 30:24-28 (MSG)
There are four small creatures, wisest of the wise they are— ants—frail as they are, get plenty of food in for the winter; marmots—vulnerable as they are, manage to arrange for rock-solid homes; locusts—leaderless insects, yet they strip the field like an army regiment; lizards—easy enough to catch, but they sneak past vigilant palace guards.

These four creatures are small and ordinarily if they never did anything significant in life it will be understandable but the Bible said they were wise.

There are four animals in the world that are small, but very, very clever: (Proverbs 30:24 (GNT)

They were not going to allow their limitation be a drawback and neither were they going to wait for anyone to hand them peanuts.

Rather they rediscovered themselves and the strength they possessed. They maximized their strength and stepped beyond barriers to their place of victory.

BEYOND BARRIERS :LESSON FROM FOUR SMALL CREATURES

You may not have been born with all the wisdom you need in life but you are endowed with the ability to learn. You can become clever through training and applying the knowledge gained to make your vision attainable and go beyond barriers.

LESSON FROM THE ANTS - PROVERBS 30:25(GNT)
Ants: they are weak, but they store up their food in the summer.

Lazy people should learn a lesson from the way ants live. They have no leader, chief, or ruler, but they store up their food during the summer, getting ready for winter. Proverbs 6:6‭-‬8 GNT

The ants understood the implication of their small size and that they have to compete with bigger creatures for survival and cross beyond barriers. They also recognised their ability to wake early and work tirelessly.

Ants do not wait for competition to push them aside instead they leverage on their strength and start work early while the competitors are still sleeping. Hence they are able to gather more than enough to meet their needs.

In hard work there is always something gained, but idle talk leads only to poverty. Proverbs 14:23 (GW)

For me PHCN has been a great limiting factor to my work progress.  I need power from PHCN for my equipment to work but it has become customary for them not to supply power for days in my area. As a result for days I am unable to complete a single post or work on my Website.

I never considered my Android phone a suitable alternative to PHCN’s inefficiency for the phone is just so small to store much power. I explored the potentials of my Android phone when I realised PHCN was never going to get better . Initially my output was low but after some days I mastered it’s use despite the  limitation. And now I get more result even without PHCN.

The inefficiency of PHCN is no longer an hindrance as I crossed beyond barriers to become  productive.

Do not allow eternal forces to control your vision and output. Make the best use of what  you have. It is the nature of PHCN to be unreliable. Identify the PHCN in your pathway and push it aside for other  alternatives that will give you good result.

LESSON FROM THE ROCK BADGERS - PROVERBS 30:26 (GNT)
Rock badgers: they are not strong either, but they make their homes among the rocks.

Rock  Badgers are feeble but not without vision and in addition they are able to persevere.

They didn’t go mourning for what they were not given or day dreaming of what they could become rather they set high goals and worked hard.

Yes they are feeble but being feeble does not mean you cannot be skillful. They started with what they have to consistently work hard at the goals that will make their vision become real and as a result they are found in places meant for the strong.

Those who work their land will have plenty of food, but the ones who chase empty dreams instead will end up poor. Proverbs 28:19 (NCV)

As you start with what you have; provision will keep pouring in;  though it may comes in trickles but if you already have a vision you will use it for the planned purpose.

Among my peers only a handful built their houses having the resources at once. Many of us built for years using the resources as they came in bits.

The ones with great visions among us set high goals and purchased land in choice areas hence with focus and diligence the houses were completed and they now reside with elites.

People see the completed structure and shower praises without caring to know how it was completed or the duration it took. Look beyond your limitations. Identify your potentials or strength and cleverly apply it to get results.

Do you see a man skillful and experienced in his work? He will stand [in honor] before kings; He will not stand before obscure men.
PROVERBS 22:29 AMP
LESSON FROM LOCUSTS - PROVERBS 30:27 (GNT)
Locusts: they have no king, but they move in formation.

Locusts understand the power of unity and team work as a result they worked in agreement and harmony. None among them was claiming superiority and for that reason they use pooled resources to get result. They understood that two good heads are better than one. Big goals are achievable where no single person is seeking to attract the attention or attribute success to himself or herself.

Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Amos 3:3 (KJV)

You will grow more in life if you recognize that God did not create you to be an island. In business you get better result if you and your employees share the same vision and whole heartedly work on it not minding who gets the credits but rather all you want is for  common goals  to be achieved.

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Ecclesiastes 4:9‭-‬10 (NIV)

LESSON FROM LIZARDS - PROVERBS 30:28 (GNT)
Lizards: you can hold one in your hand, but you can find them in palaces.

Lizard or spiders; we consider them irritating. We don’t want them around us but they say who cares? They cross the boundaries we set for them and are everywhere around us.

As they pursue their dreams they are not seeking or waiting for our approval. The threat of death is not enough to deter them.

When you are passionate regarding  your vision then you will gladly give everything it takes to record success.

You will wine and dine with the shakers and movers of society if you pay the painful price of rejection and go beyond barriers. No body will be able to set you aside as unimportant or insignificant when you cross to victory.

By hardwork ants build solid houseGood formation and teamworkEach step moves you to your goalColony of antsCommitment to work by antsLizards gain access to everywhere.Dwells in the rock with the strong

TAKE ACTION: IDENTIFY YOUR POTENTIALS AND GO BEYOND BARRIERS TO VICTORY

If you are waiting for a perfect timing when barriers will miraculously disappear you may never record extraordinary success in life.

He who watches the wind [waiting for all conditions to be perfect] will not sow [seed], and he who looks at the clouds will not reap [a harvest]. ECCLESIASTES 11:4 (AMP)

Prayerfully discover your purpose and set goals to achieve them. Next identify your potentials and begin to utilize them. You will be surprise to know that the provision was available all along.

Crossing bridges to the place of success is not easy. There may be thorns on the way do not be discouraged and in the end you will make it to victory.
