Study and work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval.
Be a good worker, one who does not need to feel ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.
If you want to receive God’s approval you will be fully devoted like a good soldier.
No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.
The word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
We get strength and nourishment when we befriend the Bible.
Jesus encourages us not to live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.
“The only way we can live on the word of God is by reading and studying the Bible under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.”

Everything written in the Scriptures was written to teach us in order that we might have hope through the patience and encouragement which the Scriptures give us.
The word of God is perfect, it will refresh your soul. Everything God promises are trustworthy, making wise the simple. Put your hope in God and meditate on His word and He will revive you.
We can not earn our salvation by hard work, it is God’s gift to us but God does not want us to take His grace for granted.
When our way is pleasing to God, we will obtain His approval. Our ways will be pleasing and acceptable to God when we live a pure life.

You can live a pure life when you hide His word in your heart so that you might not sin against Him.
When the word of God is in your heart you will not trust in the lying words of satan, that cannot profit.
You will also be able to discern the false teachings of false teachers and you will not be deceived by them.
God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ is faithful and He will keep you from harm.
Be diligent for the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His covenant of loving devotion for a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments.

1)Thank you Lord for your word. Your word is life let the life in Your word enter into my life.
2) Sow in me the love for your word. Holy Spirit guide me as I meditate on it all day long.
3) LORD test and refine me to receive your seal of approval.

4) Your hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding to learn Your commandments.
5) May my cry come before You, O LORD. I am severely afflicted, O LORD; revive me through Your word.
6) You are my hiding place and my shield; I put my hope in Your word. Sustain me as You promised, that I may live; let me not be ashamed of my hope.
