HOW TO CROCHET HEXAGON AFRICAN FLOWER MOTIF

* – Repeat the instructions between the asterisks the number of times indicated. () – Repeat the instructions between the parentheses as indicated.
Note: do not count the sl st as a stitch
HOW TO CROCHET HEXAGON AFRICAN FLOWER MOTIF
Foundation Row: Start with a magic ring using colour A.
R1: (use colour A) ch3, 1dc ch1, *2dc, ch1** rep from *to**4 more times. Slip stitch to beginning stitch. (12sts) Fasten off colour A
R2: Attach colour B to any ch1 space. ch3, 1dc ch1 2dc to ch1 space, skip next 2sts. *2dc ch1 2dc to next ch1 space** Rep from * to ** 4 more times. Slip stitch to top of beginning ch3. Fasten off colour B. [6 double 2dc clusters]
R3: Attach colour A to the ch1 space between 2dc cluster. ch3, 6dc to same space, ch1. *7dc into next ch1 space, ch1.** Rep from * to ** till last chain1 space. Slip stitch to top of beginning ch3. [6clusters of 7dc each] Fasten off colour A.

R4: (Attach colour B to first stitch of any of the cluster.) ch1 sc to same stitch, 1sc to each of the next 6sts. 1dc into space between the 2dc of the previous row. *1sc to each of the next 7sts. 1dc into space between the 2dc of the previous row.** Rep from * to ** 4 more times. Slip stitch to top of beginning sc. Fasten off colour B.
R5: Attach colour C to any of the dc. (There are 6dcs and this will be in the middle of each of the six sides of the hexagon.) ch3,*1dc each on next 3sts. 2dc+ch2+2dc into the next st. (one hexagon corner formed.) 1dc each on next 3sts. 1dc on next dc.** Repeat from* to ** five more times. Skip the last dc and slip stitch to top of beginning chain3.
HOW TO CROCHET HEXAGON AFRICAN FLOWER MOTIF
R6: Slip stitch to the next stitch then into the ch2 corner space. ch3, 1dc+ch2+2dc into the ch2 space. *1dc each on next 11sts. 2dc+ch2+2dc into the next ch2 corner space**. Repeat from* to ** five more times. 1dc each on next 11sts. Slip stitch to top of beginning chain3 then fasten off.
