PSALMS 31:1 SAVE ME BY YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS
Daily soul feast
day 8 NOVEMBER
LORD, I seek refuge in you; let me never be disgraced. Save me by your righteousness. Sustain me as You promised, that I may live; let me not be ashamed of my hope.
When we put our hope in God He does not allow us to suffer defeat. God guards the steps of His faithful ones because they trust in His power and ability to save.
Children of God are constantly under the attack of those that are in enmity with God. The enemy hates righteousness and the fact that God’s righteous children will inherit a glorious future which they cannot have. They are seeking for ways to frustrate us by troubling us and creating avenues to lure us into sin and become like them but they cannot succeed if we remain steadfast.
“As a child of God you should be of good courage, and let your heart be strengthened by the power of God.”
No power can prevail over God’s anointed ones that are faithfully walking in God’s command. The unrepentant wicked ones perish in darkness because of their sins.
God’s promise of protection is for His children who have been crucified with Christ and this cannot be broken.
When we are in Christ it is no longer us who live, but Christ lives in us; and the life which we now live in the flesh we live by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself up for us.
If you are in Christ; for satan or agents of darkness to gain access to you; they will first need to get to Christ who is one with God.
PSALMS 31:1 SAVE ME BY YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS
If Christ cannot be put to shame you cannot be shamed too. Whatever they throw at you remember it is actually targeted at Christ. And in due time God will execute judgment and deliver you.
Since it is not possible for any power to confront God and win you should be at peace because you are more than conqueror through Him who loved you.
God cherishes His children who are living righteously and He keeps them as an apple of His eyes by hiding them in the shadow of His wings.
PSALMS 31:1
I come to you, Lord, for protection; never let me be defeated. You are a righteous God; save me, I pray! (GNT)
PSALMS 31:1 SAVE ME BY YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS
Are you facing tough times? Tell God and be rest assured that God is with You; we walk by faith and not by sight.
We are not looking at the things being seen, but the things not being seen. For the things being seen are temporary, but the things not being seen are eternal.
The challenges you are seeing are temporal and they will come to past but God is eternal. By faith focus on God to bring to fulfillment the things He has promised to do for you. He is a promise keeper and cannot lie because He is not man.
For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: for whoever touches you touch the apple of His eye. And God will arm you for battle to plunder everyone that has plundered you.
May God’s canopy of protection be over you always.(Amen)
PRAYER PETITIONS PSALMS 31:1 SAVE ME BY YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS
1) Lead me in the path of righteousness away from the prying eyes of the enemy seeking to cause trouble for me.
2) Sustain me by Your mercy. Do not allow troubles against me to consume me.
3) Keep me as an apple of Your eyes. Judge every one that afflict me and deliver me from their clutch.
PRAY FERVENTLY
4) In Your justice please rescue me and hide me under the shadows of Your wings.
5) Increase me with Your strength for in my own strength I cannot prevail over the enemy’s attack.
6) Help me to walk by faith and look unto You for deliverance. Do not let me be discouraged by the troubles that surround me for they are temporary and they will be swallowed up in Your power.
LORD May I receive your answer to my prayers in Jesus Name (amen)
