DEUTERONOMY 4:19
And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars; all the heavenly array; do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the LORD your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven. Deuteronomy 4:19 (NIV)
THE CREATOR OR THE CREATION? WHO ARE YOU WORSHIPING?
Have you heard? God says “My own hand laid the foundations of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I summon them, they all stand up together.”For My own sake, My very own sake, I will act; for how can I let Myself be defamed? I will not yield My glory to another. “I am the LORD. That is my name, and I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols.” Who are you giving your praise to? The Creator or the creation?
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands. .”
THE CREATOR OR THE CREATION? WHO ARE YOU WORSHIPING?
God is the Lord of heaven and earth and all the other existing planets.
The sun has one kind of glory, while the moon and stars each have another kind. And even the stars differ from each other in their glory.
Despite their beauty, greatness and overwhelming attraction; their glory cannot compare or equate to the glory of God. They are all the hand work of God.
When you look to the heavens and see the sun, moon, and stars; all the array of heaven: do not be led astray to bow down and worship them.
The LORD our God has provided them for all people everywhere under heaven.

Indeed heaven and the highest heavens belong to the LORD our God, also the earth with all that is in it.
When you begin to give prominence to things or engage in other activities to the point that it consumes you and take God’s place in your daily schedule; it could be an indication that you are slipping into idol worship.
Retrace your steps and fear the Lord. God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

Many Children of God are not patient to wait on God in prayer and neither are they sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit because they do not know the voice of God.
We get discouraged when God does not give instantaneous answers to our prayers. We are constantly seeking for immediate gratification and solutions to challenges.
No one wants to experience delay or discomfort as a result they seek for alternatives outside God. In the process many are falling into satan’s deception and worshiping all manners of created things that promises help.
They are trading the truth about God for a lie. So they worship and serve the things God created instead of worshiping the Creator Himself, who is worthy of eternal praise!

Do not be deceived into serving idols; for everyone will suffer the consequences of their negative actions.
Let no one influence you with foolish words of how the idols helped them; it is because of these very things that God’s anger will come upon those who do not obey Him.
There are so many modern idols embedded in Technology and Apps. Be careful and watchful.
From heaven God shows how angry He is with all the wicked and evil things that sinful people do to crush the truth.
May you not be among those that God has earmark for punishment in Jesus Name.
The LORD provides the sun for light by day, the moon and the stars to shine at night. He stirs up the sea and makes it roar; His name is the LORD Almighty.
He gave them to us to serve our needs; it is a misnomer to treat them as gods.

“You alone are the LORD. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. The earth and the seas and everything in them are your handiwork.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you.
From the rising of the sun to its setting; the name of the LORD is to be praised.
When I consider Your heavens O Lord, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained; Then I ask, “Why do you care about us humans? Why are you concerned for us weaklings?”
Please remember me, LORD, when you show kindness by saving your people.

God is my Savior; I will trust Him and not be afraid. The LORD gives me power and strength; He is my Savior.
Don’t fall out of favour with God. Jesus paid the ultimate price so that you can enjoy the blessings of God. Therefore ask Jesus to examine you and protect you from falling into the sin of ascribing God’s glory to God’s creation. May your praise always be to God Almighty.

1)Lord deliver me from spiritual decline. Turn my eyes away from worshiping worthless things; revive me with Your word.
2) Lord let me be sensitive to Your leading. Open my spiritual ears to hear Your voice and help me obey Your instructions.
3) Father help me to stand strong when I am confronted with challenges. Protect me from falling into satan’s net of deception.
PRAY FERVENTLY
4) Dear God; hide us in the secret place of Your presence from the schemes of men. Conceal us in Your shelter from powers that are bent on derailing us.
5) Father Lord keep us on the right track. Let the glory and beauty of Jesus be seen in us. Let the life we live reveal Your glory to the world.
6)Let my focus be on You Lord. Purge me of every uncleanliness with Your refining fire. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I can worship You in spirit and truth.
LORD May I receive your answer to my prayers in Jesus Name (amen)
