TO WHOM WILL YOU LIKEN GOD? HOW CAN YOU DESCRIBE HIM?
Daily soul feast
day 6 NOVEMBER
Who is a God like our God? He pardons our iniquity and blots away our transgressions with the blood of His Son Jesus Christ.
Our LORD is great and His name is mighty in power. Who is like the LORD our God, the One enthroned on high?
He alone does great wonders. His loving devotion endures forever. God does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in our loving devotion.
There is none holy as the LORD for Holiness is God’s glory and beauty. There is none beside Him and neither is there any rock like God.
Our God is indescribable; His understanding is unsearchable. When we are short of words to describe Him we say come and see the works of God: He is terrible in His doing toward the children of men.
Indeed the work of God is awesome, fearsome and awe inspiring.
“Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?”
TO WHOM WILL YOU LIKEN GOD? HOW CAN YOU DESCRIBE HIM?
God’s holiness is so perfect that none of us can ever attain it or qualify to be in His presence in our flesh. He told Moses no one can see my face and live.
Everybody is seeking to describe God but how can you describe God when you do not know Him or have a relationship with Him?
God is Spirit and only someone connected to God in spirit can have a feel of who He is.
God is merciful and He said “I will cause all My goodness to pass in front of you,” and I will proclaim My name “the LORD” before you. I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
Come and experience God’s exploits. God does His wonderful acts for His children; children redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
TO WHOM WILL YOU LIKEN GOD? HOW CAN YOU DESCRIBE HIM?
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father’s side, has made Him known.
When you have Jesus in you, He reveals God to you for the Bible declares that when we see Jesus we have seen the Father. God cannot be likened to anything we have seen on earth but by faith we see Him in spirit.
The ignorant man though rich in the world’s treasures carves out an image to fit his imagination of what God looks like and in His folly he begins to worship it.
Some create work and business and turn it to their god. They give the lifeless gods the glory that should be ascribed only to the Almighty God.
When our worship is focused on man such as is prevalent in Churches today it becomes sin.
And they called out to one another: Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Hosts; His glory fills all the earth.
EXODUS 15:11
Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you? – majestic in holiness, fearful in praises, working wonders? Exodus 15:11(NET)
TO WHOM WILL YOU LIKEN GOD? HOW CAN YOU DESCRIBE HIM?
There is none holy as our God; there is none beside Him; neither is there any one like our God; there is none holy as our God!
Only the one that is made holy through the blood of Jesus can behold God and thereafter qualify to give Him an acceptable worship.
Get to know Jesus for it is through Him alone you can be made holy to behold God thereafter you will qualify to give God acceptable worship.
We can never know God enough for He keeps revealing Himself to us by a new name through His wonderful works in our life.
God is Almighty, Alpha and Omega, the Provider and much more than you can visualize. May You always experience the mercies of God such that You will know Him by a new name.

PRAYER PETITIONS
1) Lord I worship you; I acknowledge Your might for I see Your greatness in everything that surrounds me. Thank You for giving me understanding to accept Jesus into my life. I appreciate You for the work of the Holy Spirit in my life
2) Help me see You Lord by a new name through the miracle You shall wrought in my life.
3) Do not be angry with me or leave me at the mercy of devourer. Don’t let me do wrong on purpose, Lord, or let sin have control over my life.
PRAY FERVENTLY
4) Lord lead me to the place You have prepared for me to bring honour to Your Name.
5) Holy Spirit guide me to act in obedience to your guidance.
Deliver me from folly that will cause me to worship idols or images that I have crafted with my hands.
6) Cover me with Your canopy of protection. Let Your light shine through me and attract unbelievers to submit to Your authority in Jesus Name.
May my actions be pleasant to You Lord. Possess me and let your dwelling be in me.
LORD May I receive your answer to my prayers in Jesus Name (amen)
