TURN US BACK TO YOU O LORD: LAMENTATIONS 5:21

day 19 NOVEMBER
Turn us back to You, O LORD, and we will be restored; Renew our days as of old. Restore us, O God, and cause Your face to shine upon us, that we may be saved.
Your favor, O Lord, made me as secure as a mountain. “Then you turned away from me, and I was shattered.
I cried out to you, O Lord. I begged the Lord for mercy, saying,
“What will you gain if I die, if I sink into the grave? Can my dust praise you? Can it tell of your faithfulness? Hear me, Lord, and have mercy on me. Help me, O Lord.”
“When the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”

We cannot exist on our own because we carry the breath of God.
Whether we live or die, it must be for God, rather than for ourselves.
God gets angry and troubles us when we sin by hiding His face from us: we lose our peace and if God takes away our breath: we die, and return to the dust.
God said on that day when they sin; My anger will burn against them, and I will abandon them and hide My face from them, so that they will be consumed, and many troubles and afflictions will befall them.
On that day they will say, ‘Have not these disasters come upon us because our God is no longer with us?’

You can prolong your days on earth by turning away from sin and asking for forgiveness. It is impossible for you to save yourself or survive on your own.
Jesus said “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
Jesus came to call the sinners to repentance.
You should not justify yourselves in the eyes of others, for God knows your hearts and can discern when your repentance is insincere.
What people value highly; is detestable in God’s sight therefore you must produce fruits worthy of repentance.
God is happy when we seek for pardon with a humble heart. He says I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist.
Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.”

When you try to justify yourself God says "I will respond with wrath. I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout loudly in My ears, I will not listen to them."
Do not allow pride; keep you away from reconciling with God.
If you listen to what people will say or think when you abandon your old ways; your prayer will be detestable to God.
Jesus said, “whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted”
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, so that in due time He may exalt you and restore you to fellowship.
Jesus is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through Him.

Pray to God: Restore me to yourself O Lord that I may return; renew my days as of old.
And as you do this: heaven and the angelic hosts will celebrate your return. Jesus said there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
Your sun will no longer set, and your moon will not wane; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your sorrow will be over.
Answers to your prayers will no longer suffer delay and God will keep you safe.

PRAYER PETITIONS
1)Search me O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead in the way everlasting.”
2) Turn me back to You, O LORD, and I will be restored; Renew my days as of old when you were pleased with me.
3) Lord cause Your face to shine upon me to save me. Let me experience overflow of Your favour, for Your favour make me secure as a mountain.
PRAY FERVENTLY
4) Help me to be sensitive to distractions from discouraging voices and help me to promptly silence them.
5) LORD be my everlasting light, and let the days of sorrow be over in my life.
6) Jesus help me to abide in You. Reconnect me Lord and let me bear much fruit; for God.
LORD May I receive your answer to my prayers in Jesus Name (amen)
