VALUABLE TIPS: OCCUPYING NEW HEIGHTS: LEVITICUS 26:13
Once again I welcome you to a new day, a new beginning and season to mount New Heights. We are already on a high ground; high ground has levels and categories. We are aiming to take possession of God’s promise of New Heights; heights that are higher than wherever we are now; be it Spiritual, Physical, Financial, Business, Marital or other area of our lives.
When there is provision for something new it means the old is no longer good enough. May you experience better things in the days ahead in Jesus Name.
VALUABLE TIPS: OCCUPYING NEW HEIGHTS: SIGNIFICANCE
New heights indicate growth, for this post I will use Vertical height to mean upward growth while Horizontal height will refer to growth that still remains on the same level even though there may be a change in location. New heights indicate freedom to explore new things and be greater.
LEVITICUS 26:13
I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so that you would not be their slaves; and I broke the bars of your yoke and made you walk upright [with heads held high as free men].
VALUABLE TIPS: OCCUPYING NEW HEIGHTS: HOW TO STEP IN
There are ethics for occupying New Heights some of which are stated below:
DESIRE- There should be a burning desire on your part to want what God is offering you. Yokes that are limitations to occupying new heights will be broken when you get dissatisfied and you begin to take step by seeking for a way out.
Matthew 11:28-30 Good News Translation (GNT) “Come to me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit; and you will find rest.For the yoke I will give you is easy, and the load I will put on you is light.”
READY FOR CHANGE AND WILLINGNESS TO PAY THE PRICE
You must be ready to change position because New Heights involves a change from what you were used to. Be ready to embrace that change.
Deuteronomy 1:6-7 New International Version (NIV) The Lord our God said to us at Horeb, “You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Break camp and advance into the hill country of the Amorites; go to all the neighboring peoples in the Arabah, in the mountains, in the western foothills, in the Negev and along the coast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the Euphrates.
Sometimes we need someone to push us for us to be ready. Readiness involves:
Obedience to God’s word and ethics of the heights we aspire for. It includes service to God and humanity, giving, tithing, soul winning and more.
VALUABLE TIPS: OCCUPYING NEW HEIGHTS: PREPARATION
When you take on the new yoke of Jesus you become a new person with new desires.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 (CEB)
So then, if anyone is in Christ, that person is part of the new creation. The old things have gone away, and look, new things have arrived!
You will be cleansed, delivered and anointed for New Heights. The old position usually holds one in bondage; I therefore declare freedom to your life. Freedom from the comfort zone that is not making you see the better opportunities available in occupying new heights.
VALUABLE TIPS: OCCUPYING THE NEW HEIGHTS: OBTAINING THE BENEFITS
Jesus said a light set on a hill cannot be hidden. Your glory will not be covered in Jesus Name. Every agent trying to cover your glory will experience the anger of God because you now bear the mark of Christ.
Your eyes will be opened to see what others cannot see when you are occupying new heights. This is because you are operating on a new level of advantage. Elijah heard the sound of abundance when others were only seeing famine because he was operating from a privileged position.

Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.”
VALUABLE TIPS: OCCUPYING NEW HEIGHTS: CONCLUSION
Striving for New Heights should be a constant. Celebrating a new age, starting a new job, new assignments in God’s vineyard or a new home are heights in themselves. There must be an improvement in our spiritual life to showcase the work of God in our lives. People should see promotion, fruitfulness, advancement, peace and joy. Sorrows, failures and bitterness should be left behind.
May every contrary plans meant to frustrate you as you occupy new heights be scattered and destroyed as you boldly step in; in Jesus name.
