God is our Father, He loves us and His desire is that we reciprocate the love He is extending to us by our obedience to His instructions. If we say we love God, but hate others, we are liars. For we cannot love God, whom we have not seen, if we do not love others, including our parents; whom we have seen.
One way God evaluates our love for Him is by looking at the way we treat our parents.
Do you love your parents and treat them with respect?
Do you relate with them deceitfully?
Or are you one of those that blackmail parents to force them to surrender their valuables to you?
Many children do not love their parents even though they claim to.
They have robbed their parents of joy because they cause the parents endless pain by their acts of rebellion.

God is very much against stealing including robbing our parents. And the forbidden items are not limited to tangible things; even the intangible things are included and evaluated.
Some of these intangible things costs parents a lot to put in place; examples of these intangibles include spiritual uprightness, good names, good values and more.
One cannot easily place accurate value on them but when they are stolen many of them cannot be replaced even after the parents pass on to glory.
A thief is not thinking of the well being of the family rather they are out to destroy.
Children who rob their parents are regarded as partners to destroyers and any child that does not repent and change will suffer the same fate as destroyers.
“The Bible records: woe, you destroyer never destroyed, you traitor never betrayed! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed. When you have finished betraying, they will betray you.”

Children that are patient and working using their God given skills; will stand in place of greatness and they will receive an inheritance that is blessed.
An inheritance gained hurriedly and deceitfully at the beginning will not be blessed in the end.
The faithful and patient children will prosper with blessings, but whoever is in a hurry to get rich will not escape punishment.
The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever.
Those who remove ancient landmark are cursed. Landmark of good deeds laid by parents should not be tampered with. God protects the upright from the hand of the destroyers.

May our children not become an instrument of destruction that we have to run away from.
When you have the opportunity to care for your children in their growing years; do it heartily and diligently.
Lead them to God, pray for them and pray with them.
Be available when they need you most and care for them with the resources God has made available to you.
When parents abdicate their responsibility and the children break away; the negative consequences are not easily erased or forgotten.

Parents will also give an account; for God gave them these children as loan and at the appropriate time God will recall the loan.
May you not be among those God will sanction for default because they could not return the loan in it’s complete and perfect state.
May the LORD, be merciful towards us. Let us wait on Him with hope that He will keep our children in the straight path of life. And may the Lord be our strength everyday of our life. Yes, be our savior in times of trouble and family challenges.

1)Lord be merciful to my children. Deliver them from the spirit of greed and stealing. Turn their spirit away from insatiable lusts for riches; revive them with Your word.
2) Separate my children from the company of destroyers. Let them not be named among those that see no wrong in robbing their parents.
3) Father let my children not be an instrument satan will use to cause me pain and sorrow. Deliver them from satan’s enticing net of deception; meant to sow in them the desire to forcefully and hastily take possession of their inheritance.
PRAY FERVENTLY
4)Lord deliver my children from powers that is seeking to turn them away from the right path. Let their heart not become dark with evil thoughts and purpose.
5) Dear God; hide my children in the secret place of Your presence from the schemes of peer group. Conceal them in Your shelter; from powers that are bent on turning them against You.
6) O LORD, have mercy on my children and family. We wait with hope for you. Be our strength everyday. Yes, be our savior in times of trouble and family crisis.
LORD May I receive your answer to my prayers in Jesus Name (amen)
