WHY DID GOD CREATE US? DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE

God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus He has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do.
God created us in His own image and He breathed His spirit in us so that we can exist. We have no life without God and we exist to fulfill the purpose for which He created us.
In the beginning man enjoyed direct communication with God but lost that right due to disobedience in the Garden of Eden. However God in His mercy reconciled man through Jesus Christ hence man cannot fulfill God’s purpose without having a life in Christ.
Both saved and the unsaved have the capacity to do works; good enough for the standard expected by the World but only the work of those that are in Christ is acceptable to God.
WHY DID GOD CREATE US? DISCOVERING THE GOOD WORKS GOD PLANNED FOR YOU
If you want your good works to be recognized by God and fit for eternity then you need Jesus Christ in your life.
Jesus Christ said “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
This means if we want to produce fruits of good works; our relationship with Christ must not be doubtful. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can we bear fruit unless we remain in Him.
You can only know the good works God expects when you discover the good works Christ came to do.
THE GOOD WORKS JESUS CAME TO DO
Jesus said “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come. It is this same good works that God has anointed us to do.
EPHESIANS 2:10
God has made us what we are. He has created us in Christ Jesus to live lives filled with good works that he has prepared for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 (GW)
WHY DID GOD CREATE US? DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE
When you are in Christ your purpose will align with His purpose. Doing the good works God prepared for you mean being crucified with Christ and giving up your life for Him to direct.
Even though we are alive in the flesh we are living by faith in Jesus Christ the son of God who loved us and gave His life for us.
If you do not have Jesus you have no life and when you have no life you cannot accomplish any good work that will have eternal value.
When you are in Christ the Holy Spirit will reveal the will and purpose of God for you and because you are united in spirit with Christ you will have a witness in your heart of every good work God assigned to you.
WHY DID GOD CREATE US? DISCOVER THE GOOD WORKS PREPARED FOR YOU
Life in Christ brings transformation making you desire and willingly do the things commanded by God. This relationship is strengthened as we fellowship with Him through the word, worship, prayers, service and living in obedience.
The Holy Spirit will always impress on our heart the things God has designed for us to do. When we are doing the things God wants; our heart will be at peace and we will be able to live a purposeful, meaningful and fulfilled life.
Every work we do according to God’s purpose will attract His recognition and reward. He says I come quickly to reward everyone according to their work.
May God reveal His purpose to you through Jesus Christ (Amen).
If you have not given your life to Christ; now is the perfect time and when you do subsequently your good work will be approved and rewarded by GOD.
PRAYER PETITIONS
1) Lord please help me not to leave undone what you have called me to do.
2) Give me the grace to remain in fellowship with you doing the good works You prepared for me to accomplish.
3) Holy Spirit guide me to remain in Christ so I can walk in the good works assigned to me.
PRAY FERVENTLY
4) Help me to be faithful to all that you have committed to me. Teach me to see my whole life as you see it.
5) By your Spirit, let me utilize every moment of every day to do good works acceptable to You.
6) Let my work be tested and worthy of Your reward.
LORD May I receive your answer to my prayers in Jesus Name (amen)
